Now these companies are definitely not the top of the line guitars, but they are very interesting and many of them do have some great sound and are well made. These guitars were actually sold by the Sears store. However, while Sears was the store that was selling them, these guitars were actually made by several different companies. A few of the companies that made these guitars for Sears include Teisco, Harmony, Kay, Danelectro, National-Dobro. The companies that made these guitars for Sears were known as “jobbers” because they were asked to do the job of making the guitars for the Sears company.

Usually vintage Silvertone guitars are very near to the same as the models of guitars that the manufacturers sold themselves. Most of the time there was only a color or logo change. Of course, the positive side of this is that when you pick up one of these guitars, you will be able to know that it is just as great as some of the brands out there that are more expensive.

Today you can still find vintage Silvertone guitars, although it is not always so easy to figure out who actually made the guitar in the first place. For some, you can find out who actually made the guitar in the first place, and often this will make the guitar even more expensive. These guitars vary in price a great deal. You can find them for as cheap as about $100, but there are others that cost closer to $1000 and up, depending on who made them and the year that they were made in.
