I bought this guitar to add to my slide guitar collection. I tune them all differently from each other and my plan was to tune this one in a minor key. As it turns out, I really don’t play anything in a minor key, so I’m letting it go.This guitar is strictly for playing slide style. The neck is not bowed and it is solidly attached to the body with no indication of ever separating. As you can see, there are dings, dents, scratches and …

Wouldn’t you like to own this guitar?
While researching this guitar, I read that Paul McCartney’s favorite was the Epiphone Texan. Everything on this beautiful guitar is in near perfect condition, except for the top fret, at the base of the head, where you can see in the photo, that it needs a piece added (on the left side) to accomodate the extra string when you add the 6 more strings…this may be able to be repaired by a pro, or easily replaced. It is currently …

Wouldn’t you like to own this guitar?
This is a project guitar that will need a bit of work to be in better playing order. It is a 1967 Epiphone FT-45N Cortez 6-string made by Gibson in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It comes with a 2008 hardshell case made by Access which is just slightly large for the guitar’s body. The case works fine with this guitar though. The guitar has quite a bit of character, having been played both right-handed and left-handed over the years, with the nicks and playwear to …
