 Rare Yamaha SG 510.  Previous owner upgraded the pearl dot inlays to elaborate inlays as shown.  Nut was upgraded to a black tusq.  Its not rare to see SG 510’s around but to see one in white/cream with binding is almost unheard of.dont miss out

This fine instrument was produced at famous Nippon Gakki plant in Japan, between 1970-1972.
All japanese woods (all nato wood-sides,back, neck)are responsible for vivid, distinct, bold and unusual
sound.,- loud, yet elegant. Pronounced and resonant bass, well separated mids, almost tear-jerking highs.
seasoned spruce top, rosewood fretboard and bridge, bone saddle., double (front and back) multi-layered bindings,
 inlayed soundhole ornament.
Newer tuners, all else looks original including finish. Neck tail has had some kind of a minor repair (perhaps

This guitar is made in Japan in the 1970s.
It ha a spruce top, binding throughout, rosewood back and sides. With original hang tags in Yamaha hardshell case
The guitar is in excellent condition.

Vintage 1968 Yamaha FG 230 12 string Guitar
Nippon Gakki Red Label
DATE: This all original Yamaha FG 230 12 string guitar was stamped “MADE IN JAPAN” and was made at the famous Nippon Gakki  factory. Its’ serial number is difficult to read but I think it is Oh Oh 5141 or  OO5141 which indicates it was the 141st unit made on Monday the 5th of August 1968. The “5” could be a “3” , if so it was made on Saturday the 3rd of August

Vintage 70’s Yamaha FG 230 12 string acoustic guitar. Made in Japan, red label Nippon Gakki. Serial number 1526454.
Guitar does have some nicks, dings and scratches. No cracks. There is a very slight belly right behind the center section of the bridge. Bridge is tight and not lifting.
Neck is straight with a slightly low angle. Frets are nice with plenty of life in them.
Guitar could use a new set …

Also comes with original case (in poor condition) & Levy animal print strap
Plays good; action is a slightly high but still easy to play.  It stays in tune.  No fret wear, neck is straight.  There is slight, very slight bridge lift on one corner.  Also the truss rod cover is missing.
Cosmetically, it looks played.  There are some scuffs/scratches but no cracks or chips.

It is in original state when discovered i.e no strings, never been touched up or refurbished. No cracks on the binding, neck and body joint. Nut, frets, machine heads, saddle is in original condition including the stain on the body and the last four frets. Same goes with the case. The S/N: 1167144 . A true vintage/ in closet, under the bed… call it what ever you want condition..
