The body, though wonderfully aged, has cracks on the sides and some amateur patchwork inside. 1941 Martin D-18 Acoustic Guitar
 

Up for grabs is this wonderful Pre-War D-18. This instrument is truly a “Player’s Dream”. It has the rich, balanced sound you would expect from a 59-year-old-instrument. I guess this is due to the fact that it has obviously been well-played and well-loved! If you’re looking for a collector’s grade instrument to hang in a museum, this ain’t it. Pre-war 1926 Martin guitar has straight neck and well-seated saddle and nut. The sound box is 4 inches deep near base of guitar, and 3.25 inches near neck and is 18.5 inches tall and 13.25 wide at its widest. 12 frets on neck. This is such a light, beautiful instrument! Bar frets, thin heel,no stamps. Plays beautifully. Has a crack that was repaired years and years ago. Great instrument, very solid.

Martin D-18 1968 Mahogany Back Sides Looks like an andirondack top.Small Maple bridege plate.This is the best sounding D-18 from this era I have seen.
Fresh neck reset, new frets, and new pick guard. We laquer all of our new custom pick guards so it is like the original.
Comes we hard shell case. I am not sure if it is original , but it looks lik it.

Vintage 1963 00-18 Martin guitar.
This is a beautiful guitar in excellent condition. It plays beautifully and rings like a bell!
It is all original parts. It was re-fretted in 1992 by Jim Lombard in Santa Barbara, Ca who expertly set the guitar up afterwards and has great action.
Serial number 192023. There were only 603 of this type of guitar made by Martin in 1963.
